Full list of Southwest Conference (SWC) Tournament men’s basketball champions, including head coach, by year. Parenthesis indicate number of titles for that coach or school. The Southwest Conference was active from 1913-14 through the 1995-96 season and, along with the Big Eight, was a predecessor to the Big 12. The SWC Tournament began in 1975, and Arkansas was the program with the most titles (six), followed by Houston and Texas Tech (five each).
