The Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) has awarded Missouri Valley Men’s Basketball Coach of the Year honors every season since 1948-49. The coach who has won the award the most times is Northern Iowa’s Ben Jacobson (five). Drake is the program with the most awards (ten), followed by former member Tulsa and current member Bradley (nine each). Parenthesis indicate number of awards for that coach or school.
